Transit
Plants
are usually sent by parcel post.
Plants delayed or damaged in transit should be reported
immediately to the carrier by telephone, fax or e-mail and confirmed in
writing.
Post
and packing
Plants
are mailed in boxes. We reserve
the right to remove pots if necessary to simplify packaging
plants. Plants
are fairly tightly packed to stop them
moving about. We have found
this by far the best method. On receipt we recommend you open the box and stand up the plants.
Each variety has a descriptive label.

The nursery reserves the right to alter prices (up or down) without
prior notice should the need arise.
Plant
size
Heathers are sold in 7/9 cm pots (except where otherwise stated) and are 1-4 years old.
The plants are about 7-10 cm when dispatched.
Most of our conifers are Dwarf varieties and are slow growing. Our
conifers are well established plants in 1-5 litre pots (except where
otherwise stated) and are potted with the addition of slow release
fertiliser and vine weevil preventative.
All packaging and carriage is chargeable to the customer.
Payment
Strictly
payment with order. If not using
the online facility cheques
should be made payable
to Spring Park Nursery.
Payment will not be banked on unfulfilled orders but returned.
Availability
All
plants are offered subject to availability.
We endeavour to fulfill orders swiftly, but due to demand some
plants may be sold out. Customers
requiring large quantities should telephone or e-mail before placing an order as
plants may need to be grown to order.
Generally, plants are available from April to October but orders
will be taken outside these times.
We reserve the right to substitute plants for other varieties
should the need arise. Orders
are compiled in strict rotation and will normally be dispatched within
14 days of receipt of order but, should weather conditions be unsuitable, we
reserve the right to delay dispatch until they improve.
We should endeavour to notify you if this occurs.
To avoid plants being stored by the delivery service over the weekend
orders are usually dispatched on a Monday.
Acceptance
of orders does not guarantee supply.
Plant
quality
Every
effort is made to ensure plants are dispatched in good condition, true
to name and pest free, but are sold without warranty.
No liability is accepted for any consequential problems after
inspection on arrival, although any complaints will be dealt with on their
own merits.
Liability is limited to the purchase price of the plants.
Refund of online payments
Note:
If we need to refund a payment the 'Refund online' option is only
available for 60 days after the payment is sent.
General
Agreement
Placing
an order signifies acceptance of these terms.
The
information contained in the lists is a guide only, but every effort has
been made to ensure that plant names and accompanying notes are correct.
The
plant list herein supersedes all previous editions
